Follow these steps to install and configure Amelia Gift Cards

📋 Prerequisites

WordPress

Version 5.0 or higher

PHP

Version 7.4 or higher

Amelia Booking Plugin

Plugin installed and activated with Stripe configuration

Divi Theme or Divi Builder

Latest version recommended

🚀 Quick Installation

    Plugin Download

    After your purchase, download the amelia-gift-cards.zip file from your client area.

    Upload to WordPress

    In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New and click on Upload Plugin.

    Activation

    Select the ZIP file and click Install Now, then Activate.

  4. 4

    Compatibility Check

    The plugin will automatically check for Amelia and Divi. If errors appear, make sure all prerequisites are met.

⚙️ Initial Configuration

1. Stripe Configuration

The plugin automatically uses Amelia's Stripe configuration. Make sure that:

  • • Stripe API keys are configured in Amelia
  • • Test mode is enabled for initial testing
  • • Stripe webhooks are configured if necessary

2. Gift Card Types

Go to Amelia Gift Cards → Types to:

  • • Create your first gift card types
  • • Set available amounts
  • • Configure restrictions (services, validity period)
  • • Customize visual templates

3. Divi Module

In the Divi Builder:

  • • Search for the "Amelia Gift Card" module
  • • Add it to your page
  • • Configure appearance and options
  • • Test the form in preview mode

    Use Stripe test cards:

    for successful payment

  2. 2

    Email Verification

    Test sending gift cards by email

  3. 3

    Coupon Validation

    Verify that coupons are created in Amelia with the correct restrictions

🔧 Troubleshooting

Plugin won't activate

Check that all prerequisites are installed and activated (Amelia, Divi, PHP 7.4+)

Payments are not working

Check the Stripe configuration in Amelia and make sure you're in test mode for testing

Divi module doesn't appear

Clear Divi's cache and refresh the Builder

Emails are not being sent

Configure an SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP for better deliverability
